Privacy, in plain language.
We collect only what we need to run ShazBlog and keep it useful.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we store your username, email address, profile details, and authentication provider. We also store content you intentionally submit, including articles, comments, and contact messages.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, display your contributions, respond to messages, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies and sessions
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms from cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention and control
Content is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You may ask us to correct or delete your personal information by contacting us.
Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never as plain text. No internet service is risk-free, but we apply practical safeguards and limit the data we collect.
